About Me
At the age of ten I knew I wanted to be a teacher. The first time I entered the art room in junior high is when I fell in love with the arts. School never came easy and art became my outlet. With a strong desire to help others find their passion I chose a career as an Art Educator. My adventure as an art educator began at Western Illinois University where I completed my bachelors in art education. While on the hunt for my dream job I went to work assisting students with special needs. This amazing group of students inspired me to go back to school for an endorsement in special education. This incredible journey has brought me down to southern Illinois where my art supplies and I call home. This career has been an unforgettable one. I have had the honor of meeting and working with others who share the same desire to help others achieve.
